Expression Blend 2.5 June 2008 Preview Not Loading Solution

There is an issue with Expression Blend 2.5 June Preview not doing anything when loading solutions, one cause of this is using the Visual SVN plugin to VS2008. For some reason the following has to be removed from the .sln file to load the solution into blend:

        GlobalSection(ExtensibilityGlobals) = postSolution
		VisualSVNWorkingCopyRoot =
	EndGlobalSection

Google Chrome, Picassa 3, What an awesome release

Wow, what a great couple of days for new release software, I just downloaded and installed Google Chrome, Googles new browser and what a breath of fresh air, clean, uncluttered and fast to boot. It seems they have taken the best out of other browsers and put them together in one streamlined interface that is so simple to use. Awesome

No longer do you need separate location and search boxes, both are combined into one, just type ? to the address bar to perform a google search, or better still use some of the Firefox style keyboard shortcuts (CTRL-K Google Search, it just places ? for you)

In typical Web 2.0 fashion its still Beta, however seems great so far. get it here.

And also dont forget Picassa 3.0 Beta with face recognition over here

WCF, WPF, Silverlight 2.0

Yay, I just received my WPF, WCF, and Silverlight 2.0 books today from amazon, quite fast actually, just ordered them last thursday, now it’s Monday and they were just waiting for them.
