There is an issue with Expression Blend 2.5 June Preview not doing anything when loading solutions, one cause of this is using the Visual SVN plugin to VS2008. For some reason the following has to be removed from the .sln file to load the solution into blend:
GlobalSection(ExtensibilityGlobals) = postSolution VisualSVNWorkingCopyRoot = EndGlobalSection
